WK5-CIB Assignment

WK5 - Photoshop Lessons-Due Sunday 2/20 midnight

The beginning part of this course, you will be working on Photoshop lessons. You must complete each set of lessons per week and submit the completed work to the Assignment Area in eCampus. The lessons will be due by Sunday of the following week, although you are encouraged to submit your work early. Submitting work early will allow time to ask questions about the materials you covered in your lessons.

Post the finished files that results from each lesson you complete to the Assignment Area in eCampus. There will be a dated Assignment for each lesson, attach the finished work to the appropriate assignment. Label each attachment .ZIP with your lastname_lesson#. Doube check that you have labeled your files properly and attached them to the correct assignment.

Compress all lesson files as one .ZIP file before submitting to the assignment area. Follow the instructions below depending on what platform you are working on.

Mac Platform
1. Place all your files inside a folder labeled (lastname_lesson#).
2. Select the folder and go to File > Compress (lastname_lesson#)
3. A .ZIP file will be created at the root location of your original folder.
4. Upload file to the proper assignment area, make sure to Submit Assignment proceeding the upload.

PC Platform
1. Place all your files inside a folder labeled (lastname_lesson#).
2. Right mouse click on the folder and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder
3. A .ZIP file will be created on your desktop. A zipper icon or .zip will be added to the filename.
4. Upload file to the proper assignment area, make sure to Submit Assignment proceeding the upload.

Required Lessons
By Sunday, complete the lessons provided in your textbook, Classroom in a Book Adobe Photoshop CC (2020 release)

  • Chapter 2 - Basic Photo Correction
  • Chapter 5 - Quick Fixes
Photoshop Lessons Grading Criteria:
Maximum Points
Student completes the tutorials and posts the results to the Assignment Area on time.

The files and results meet the specifications of the lessons.
